Who writes our guides

Guides are produced by the AsiaRoamer editorial team. To be clear about how: the team is AI-assisted. AI tools help us research and draft, and the team then checks the facts against official sources before anything is published. We do not have a named human author for each page, and we do not claim to have stayed at hotels or taken tours that we have not.

How we check the facts

Hotel facts (location, room types, facilities) come from the hotel's own official website. Each fact on the page links to the page it came from, and carries the date we checked it.
A second, separate checking pass compares every fact and quote with the live page. A fact that the second pass cannot confirm is removed.
Area descriptions and distances follow official tourism, airport and transport sources and map distances, and are shown as approximate.
We show no hotel ratings or guest reviews of our own and we publish no prices that we cannot source. Where a partner widget shows live prices and photos, those come from the partner (for example Klook) and are labelled as such.
Photos are from Wikimedia Commons under open licences and are credited on the photo credits page. We never copy hotel or booking-site photos.

How we keep guides current

Each where-to-stay page shows the date it was last checked. When we re-check, we update the date; we do not change dates without changing content.

Some links are affiliate links and some widgets are partner widgets. We may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Commissions do not decide which areas or hotels we list. See the affiliate disclosure.
