Chaiyaphum is a large inland province, and its sights are far apart: the town and Tat Ton waterfall in the middle, the Pa Hin Ngam and Sai Thong Siam tulip fields to the south-west and west, and Phu Khiao and Kaset Sombun on the western side. This page sorts seven hotels into five areas so you can sleep near the part of the province you came for.
Use the quick answer above, then the area table. We show no hotel prices because rates change with date and room type, and the booking buttons open a search for your own dates. We have not stayed at any of these hotels. Every card shows facts taken from the hotel's own website and checked on 19 October 2026 after a separate verification pass, with the source linked. Facts we could not re-find on the site were removed. Seven is not many: most guesthouses near Pa Hin Ngam, Tat Ton and Sai Thong sell only through Facebook or booking sites, and only one hotel with its own website covers the Pa Hin Ngam fields. This is a checked list, not a complete one (see the FAQ).
How to choose
- Decide which part of the province is your main plan. For the town and the sights close to it, stay in the town centre or just outside it. For the Siam tulip fields at Pa Hin Ngam, the only hotel we could check is Baan Pa Din Hin Ngam in Ban Rai, Thep Sathit. Wikivoyage gives the flowering season as the end of June to mid-August. For Phu Khiao and Kaset Sombun, use the western hotels.
- Read every distance as the hotel's own claim. The Peak says 7 km from town, KS Resort says about an hour's drive from Chaiyaphum city, and Baan Pa Din Hin Ngam says to drive about 12 km up a road from the junction signed for Pa Hin Ngam National Park. The Thanthong page lists sights across the province without distances. Open the map pin and check driving times before you book.
- Almost all of these hotels suit people with a car. We found no public transport details on the hotels' pages, so ask what the hotel arranges, and confirm the final rate with tax, parking and cancellation terms. Wikivoyage warns that little English is spoken in Chaiyaphum, so having the booking confirmed in writing helps.

- Bus, van or car into town; neither hotel gives a distance to the bus station
Two hotels on this list are in the town. HOP INN Chaiyaphum says it is in the city centre on Non Muang Road, names Prang Ku, the Phraya Phakdi Chumphon Monument and Huen KhamMu as nearby, and lists Robinson, Lotus's, Big C and Makro as nearby shopping. NaCare Hotel says it is three minutes from the Robinson junction, names the Phraya Lae shrine, the central sports ground, the walking street and Nong Pla Thao park, and describes itself as a new wellness-style hotel with non-smoking rooms. Neither page gives distances or a pool.
Choose it if: You want a plain hotel in town for a night or two and shops within reach.
Skip it if: You want a pool, a quiet setting or to sleep next to the Pa Hin Ngam fields.
Mistake to avoid: Do not assume HOP INN's check-in times are special to this hotel; the wording is chain-wide for HOP INN Thailand.

- Drive; the hotel's own page gives 7 km from town and no transport details
One hotel on this list is just outside town. The Peak's home page says it sits in natural surroundings 7 km from town, counts 10 houses and lists the Blue House at 600 baht a night. The houses list air-conditioning, TV, parking and a water heater. The resort says it grew from Ban Rai Ruan Khwan Resort, open since 2010, and was revived as The Peak. It offers online availability checks and also hosts weddings and events.
Choose it if: You have a car and want a separate house a short drive from town.
Skip it if: You have no car, or you need silence on a busy wedding weekend.
Mistake to avoid: Do not treat the 600 baht price as a fixed rate; it is the Blue House price on the home page and prices change.

One hotel on this list is in the Pa Hin Ngam area. Baan Pa Din Hin Ngam gives an address at 220 Moo 9, Ban Rai, Thep Sathit, presents its houses as lodging for the Thung Dok Krachiao flower field, says the houses come in several styles with cleanliness first and says laundry is done with a steam disinfecting dryer. Booking is by phone or an enquiry form with a deposit paid by bank transfer. The site looks dated and shows no room prices or live availability.
Choose it if: You are visiting for the flower season, have a car and want to sleep in Ban Rai.
Skip it if: You want online booking with live prices, a pool or a town-centre base.
Mistake to avoid: Do not read the 12 km on its map page as the distance from town; it starts at the junction signed for the park.

- Drive; the page lists sights across the province but gives no distances
One hotel on this list is in Bamnet Narong. Thanthong Hotel & Resort describes a garden-style resort with four room types, from standard rooms to houses, and says rooms start at 500 baht. Its cafe serves Thai and international food and fresh coffee, and the page labels the resort pet friendly. A section on places to visit names Pa Hin Ngam, Mo Hin Khao and Tat Ton waterfall among others, but gives no distances and the sights are spread across the province. Booking is by LINE, Facebook or phone.
Choose it if: You want a quiet, low-cost garden stay and a cafe on site.
Skip it if: You want to be close to Pa Hin Ngam or the town on a short trip.
Mistake to avoid: Do not take the sights section as a sign that they are close; the page gives no distances.

Two hotels on this list are on the western side. Bander Hotel says it has 36 rooms by the Nong Pang lake in Phu Khiao, with a restaurant, a fitness room, a seminar room and Wi-Fi, and its accommodation page prints standard rooms at 600 baht (single bed) and 800 baht (double bed) and a VIP room at 1,000 baht with breakfast. KS Resort describes a family-run resort in Kaset Sombun with air-conditioned bungalows, a large saltwater pool, British and Thai food and rooms from 600 baht a night, about an hour's drive from Chaiyaphum city. Bander's site looks old and has no online booking; KS Resort takes enquiries by form or phone.
Choose it if: You are going to Phu Khiao or Kaset Sombun, or want a pool and bungalows on a longer stay.
Skip it if: You want to be in town or near the Pa Hin Ngam fields.
Mistake to avoid: Do not treat Bander's printed prices as current without a phone call; its site looks old.

Before you book
- Open the map link for the area and then check the hotel's exact pin. A neighbourhood name can cover a wide area.
- Check the final rate with tax, payment timing, cancellation terms and what the room includes.
- If arriving late, confirm the check-in method and the last transport that actually runs.
- Pa Hin Ngam is a seasonal draw, so if you plan around the tulip bloom, call the hotel for the exact dates you want and ask what it can confirm before you pay a deposit.
- Baan Pa Din Hin Ngam takes bookings by phone or an enquiry form with a bank-transfer deposit. Confirm room type, price and what the deposit covers in writing.
- The Peak also hosts weddings and events, so ask about noise on busy weekends before choosing it for a quiet stay.
FAQ
Where should first-time visitors stay in Chaiyaphum?
Stay near the part of the province you came for. For the town, choose HOP INN or NaCare in the centre or The Peak just outside it. For the Siam tulip fields at Pa Hin Ngam, Baan Pa Din Hin Ngam in Thep Sathit is the one hotel on this list in that area. The cards show what each hotel says on its own site.
Is there a hotel near Pa Hin Ngam National Park?
Baan Pa Din Hin Ngam gives an address in Ban Rai, Thep Sathit, and presents itself as lodging for the Thung Dok Krachiao flower field. Its map page says to turn onto a road signed for Pa Hin Ngam National Park and drive about 12 km up to the resort sign. Its site looks dated and shows no prices, so call before you rely on it.
Which hotels are in Chaiyaphum town?
HOP INN Chaiyaphum and NaCare Hotel Chaiyaphum. HOP INN says it is in the city centre on Non Muang Road and names Prang Ku and the Phraya Phakdi Chumphon Monument as nearby. NaCare says it is three minutes from the Robinson junction and names the Phraya Lae shrine and the walking street. Neither gives distances.
Where can I stay near Tat Ton waterfall or Sai Thong?
We could not find a hotel with its own website at either place, so none is listed. The Wikipedia page for the province places Tat Ton National Park in the north-west and Sai Thong National Park in the west. The town hotels are the nearest checked option for Tat Ton; for Sai Thong, check driving times from Thep Sathit or Phu Khiao.
Which hotels are in Phu Khiao and Kaset Sombun?
Bander Hotel in Phu Khiao and KS Resort in Kaset Sombun. Bander says it has 36 rooms by the Nong Pang lake and prints room prices on its accommodation page. KS Resort offers bungalows and a saltwater pool, lists rooms from 600 baht and says it is about an hour's drive from Chaiyaphum city.
Do I need a car in Chaiyaphum?
Almost certainly. The hotels are spread across a large province, several sit well outside town, and none of the hotel pages describes public transport. Wikivoyage also warns that little English is spoken, so plan taxis or drivers with your hotel in advance.
Why are so few hotels listed, and why are some well-known ones missing?
We only list hotels whose own website we could open and quote. Lertnimitr Hotel's site failed with an expired certificate, Siam River Resort and Baan Ingna have Facebook pages only, the domains named by Deeprom and On The Rock did not resolve, and Zalete Chalet and several other places near Pa Hin Ngam showed only booking-site listings. This is a checked list, not a full one.
