Where to Stay in Pattani: Two Hotels in the Town

Pattani is a small provincial town with few visitors, and the hotels that foreigners and Thai visitors use are mostly in the Rusamilae area on the west side of the river. This page lists two hotels in that one area so you can compare what each says on its own website.

We list only two hotels, and we say so up front. We include a hotel only if it has a live official website whose text we could open and quote. The other Pattani hotels we saw, such as Southern View, Pattanipirom Boutique and Santisookmidtown, had only booking-site listings, and Forest Beach Resort's only page is a booking widget with no readable facts, so none of them is here. We found no hotel with a live official website at Talo Kapo beach, in Sai Buri or near Namtok Sai Khao National Park. We show no prices because rates change with date and room type, and we have not stayed at either hotel. Every card shows facts taken from the hotel's own website and checked on 19 October 2026 after a separate verification pass, with the source linked.

Read the government advice first. The UK FCDO advises against all but essential travel to Pattani and says travel insurance could be invalidated if you travel against its advice, and Canada says to avoid all travel to the province. How to choose

1. Both hotels are in the Rusamilae area, so the choice is between two hotels rather than two areas. C.S. Pattani Hotel says it has 125 rooms and is 10 minutes from the Pattani city centre. The Wood Pattani Hotel gives an address on Charoen Pradit Road and lists a pool villa among its room types.
2. Read the distances as the hotels' own claims. C.S. Pattani says it is 1 hour 30 minutes from Hat Yai International Airport. Wikivoyage, an older and unofficial source, describes Nongjik Road and Charoen Pradit Road as main roads on the west side of town. Open the map pin before you book.
3. Most of the sights are outside the town centre, so a car or a driver helps. We found no public transport details on these hotel sites, so ask the hotel what it can arrange, and confirm the final rate with tax, payment timing and cancellation terms. Both hotels mark their website rates as non-refundable on their own pages.

Hat Yai International Airport is the usual arrival point; C.S. Pattani says it is 1 hour 30 minutes away

Both hotels on this list give addresses in Rusamilae. C.S. Pattani Hotel says it has 125 rooms, a Halal restaurant and a meeting and banquet centre, and calls itself 10 minutes from the Pattani city centre. The Wood Pattani Hotel gives an address on Charoen Pradit Road and lists Family Room and Pool Villa A and B among its room types. Wikivoyage describes Nongjik Road and Charoen Pradit Road as main roads on the west side of the town, so the old market and Chinese quarter on the east side are across the river.

Choose it if: You want a larger hotel near the main roads, with a restaurant or meeting rooms, and you will use a car, taxi or motorbike taxi for sights.

Skip it if: You want to walk to the old town and the Lim Ko Niao shrine on the east bank; the hotels' own words (10 minutes to the centre) suggest it is not a short walk, so check the map.

Mistake to avoid: Do not assume the sights are next door; Krue Se Mosque is about 7 km from the town per the provincial office, and the coast is further.

Pattani has no scheduled passenger flights; Hat Yai is the usual airport, and the railway stop named Pattani is in Khok Pho district.
