Where to sleep in Harbin depends on whether you want to walk the old city or be near the Ice and Snow World. Our reading of the hotel websites we opened on 16 October 2026 is this: for Central Avenue and St Sophia Church, look at Daoli; for the Ice and Snow World and Sun Island, look at Songbei; and if you arrive by train, look around Harbin West station.

The cards below show what each hotel's own website says, read on 16 October 2026: a headline claim and a caution, with no room rates and no review scores. We have not stayed at any of them. Seven of the 10 are Accor hotels, and three are Shangri-La (two) and Ritz-Carlton sites that our machine could open. The Hilton and Marriott sites refused our automated reading, so we list no hotels from those two groups.

- The 2026/27 Ice and Snow World date is not announced. Choose a room you can cancel or move, and do not rush to book before the announcement (our advice).
- Open the pin on a map and check the real route to the sight. Some sites do not say whether a time is walking or driving (ibis Songbei), or give no time at all.
- The hotel sites we read do not explain check-in rules or the documents required from foreign passport holders. We did not check this, so ask the hotel before you travel. The registration rules for foreign guests are on the China hub.

We read each hotel's own website twice. The first pass captured the text with the original sentence; the second reopened the page and confirmed the sentence was really there. Anything that failed was removed. There are no prices and no review scores.
Why are there no Hilton or Marriott hotels?
Those two groups' websites refused our automated reading, so we did not check them. That does not say anything about the hotels.
