The Three Natural Bridges (Tiansheng Sanqiao) are three natural limestone bridges in the Wulong area, about 129 km from central Chongqing. Many visitors add it as a day trip. We could not find an official operator site that opened, so the fees and hours come from local sites and ticket sellers, and they disagree. This page sets them side by side. We checked on 16 October 2026. For the city overview, see the Chongqing travel guide.

What and where it is
The Chongqing government's English site says Wulong is in the south-east of the municipality, along the lower Wu River, about 129 km from the city centre. It is part of the South China Karst, and the Three Natural Bridges area was rated a 5A tourist attraction on 6 July 2011. The scenic area has three main parts: the Three Natural Bridges, Fairy Mountain and Furong Cave.
Wikipedia adds that the core is three limestone bridges named Tianlong, Qinglong and Heilong in a protected area of about 22 square km, which also includes sinkholes (tiankeng) and the Longshui Gorge. Wulong Karst is part of the South China Karst, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Fees: sources disagree
| Source | Figure | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Ctrip | Three Natural Bridges tickets from CNY 155 | A booking site. The overview page does not list what is included |
| Bendibao | Adult CNY 155 including shuttle and lift. Reduced CNY 85 (aged 65 and over, military, disabled). Reduced CNY 120 (children, students, seniors) | Local site |
| Sohu (local tour company, 31 July 2026) | CNY 70 in the tourist season, CNY 40 off season | Looks like a base ticket, without the shuttle and lift counted separately by other sources |
| Civitatis (ticket seller) | From USD 28.76, including entry, the in-park shuttle and the lift, not the shuttle for seniors | The seller's price includes a service fee, not the gate price |
Why they differ: the CNY 70 or 40 and the CNY 155 appear to differ because one source quotes a base entry fee and the other includes the shuttle and lift. We have no price from the operator, so we cannot say what you will pay at the gate. The figure to prepare is about CNY 155 if you buy the shuttle and lift together, and you should check with the operator again.
Bendibao also gives conditions for half-price tickets for children aged 7 to 18 and for students up to undergraduate level with a student card. The text we could read is partial, so we do not confirm whether a foreign student card is accepted. Ask the operator.

Opening hours: sources disagree
| Source | Hours |
|---|---|
| Bendibao | 08:30 to 16:00 |
| Ctrip (the Wulong attractions page) | Closes at 16:30 for several sights, such as Longshuixia and Furong Cave |
| Ticket sellers we found | 08:30 to 16:30 or 08:30 to 17:30, possibly longer on holidays |
If you want to reach the bridges without a rush, aim to arrive in the morning, since every source puts closing between about 16:00 and 17:30 (our suggestion). Check the hours for your date.
Getting there
We have not confirmed a train or bus timetable from Chongqing to Wulong. What we have is weak evidence:
- A Wikimedia Commons photo titled "Display for Wulong Karst bus shuttle at Wulong South Railway station" shows a shuttle sign for the attractions at Wulong South station. Check 12306 for trains from Chongqing and ask the operator how to connect.
- Articles we read through search results (we did not open every source page) say visitors usually buy tickets at the visitor centre in Fairy Mountain town and then take the area's shuttle to the sights. The Sohu article by a local tour company says you can also buy through the area's WeChat mini programme.
- If you do not want to arrange transfers yourself, one-day tours from Chongqing exist. We have not registered a tour link for this page.

A sightseeing map photographed on Commons shows the routes inside the park.

How long and what to combine
We found no recommended time from an operator. The Sohu article, from a local company, offers a three-day Wulong plan as the classic route, and a ticket seller suggests at least about 3 hours inside the park. We have not confirmed the travel time from Chongqing. Our suggestion, not an official figure, is to use the whole day if you go from the city and not plan anything for the evening. See the other city sights in the Chongqing travel guide.

How this guide compares
We read Travel China Guide's Chongqing guide, which names Wulong Karst as one of two world-renowned sights near the city, and ticket pages from Civitatis. They give a description and a seller's price. They do not show the fee and hours sources side by side. This page does, says we have no operator figure, and gives the official distance and 5A date from the Chongqing government.
Links on this page and our earnings
The booking box opens a Klook search for Wulong Three Natural Bridges to see whether any ticket or tour is sold by a seller. As of 17 October 2026 we have no registered affiliate link for this ticket and earn nothing from them yet. We did not check whether a ticket exists or its price.
