Bangkok has two historic Muay Thai stadiums, Rajadamnern in the old city and Lumpinee on Ram Inthra Road in the north. The short answer: Rajadamnern's own website lists a fight card every night of the week and its ticket office opens daily at 15:00, while Lumpinee holds fewer nights, mainly Friday and Saturday. Rajadamnern's official pages publish seat types but no baht prices, so every price you read below comes from resellers and guides and should be confirmed on the day.

We read Rajadamnern's official pages on 2026-10-16. We could not find a Lumpinee website we could verify as official, and we say so below rather than guess. Where sources disagree we show both.

Weekly schedule on the official site.

The official site contradicts itself on Monday, Tuesday and Friday gates: 17:00 in the weekly list, 18:00 on the dated events for 16 to 25 October. Arrive by 17:30 and you are covered either way. The dated list names "Wildest", "Greatest" (the Saturday RWS night) and "Top Traditional" nights with 7 to 9 bouts of 3 or 5 rounds. The tickets page warns that popular cards such as RWS sell out quickly.

Seat types (official, no prices published)

The official seat page lists, from the top: Superior Panoramic Balcony (15 seats, Saturday RWS only), VIP Lounge, Singha Ringside, Club Class, 2nd Class LEO section and 3rd Class. The tickets page says 3rd Class has no assigned seats and describes the 2nd Class section as the more local experience, with legal public betting. Wikipedia adds that betting takes place on the upper level using hand signals and that foreigners usually sit ringside.

Foreigner price vs local price: what we can and cannot say

We found no nationality price split on Rajadamnern's official pages: the tickets page and the seat page both say prices vary by seat type and event, and neither mentions nationality. An undated listing on yourthaiguide.com claims Thai citizens pay 200, 400 and 1,000 baht and foreigners 500, 800 and 1,500 baht. We could not confirm that on any official page, so treat it as unverified and possibly out of date. One dated fact: Matichon reported on 20 July 2023 that Rajadamnern gave foreign tourists a 10% ticket discount every day until the end of 2023 as part of a Grab promotion, so a nationality-based offer existed in the past but that one has expired. Another guide says the very cheapest seats are only for Thai citizens. If you want a cheap seat, ask at the box office after 15:00 and compare with the online price.

Lumpinee Boxing Stadium

Lumpinee opened on 8 December 1956 on Rama IV Road and moved to Ram Inthra Road in 2014 (Wikipedia: first fight at the new site on 11 February 2014). The Royal Thai Army operates it. Wikipedia's schedule line (Tuesday, Friday and Saturday) is older than current guides, which describe cards on Friday and Saturday only.

Is there an official site? Not one we can verify. Wikipedia lists muaythaiallinone.com, but that site describes itself as a booking platform with a Samut Prakan address, not the stadium. The site lumpineestadium.com shows a price list and a 2026 copyright line but names no operator and sends most buttons to Klook and KKday with tracking codes. We cite it only as a claimed price list.

ONE Championship's own tickets page sends Friday Fights buyers to ThaiTicketMajor, the most trustworthy online channel for the Friday card; one guide says it adds a small fee over the face price. Another guide gives Saturday ringside at 2,000 baht and says Saturday prices are charged at the stadium door, which matches the list above. Sources disagree on the Saturday start time (17:30 and 18:00 both appear), so check your card.

How to buy without overpaying

  1. For Rajadamnern, use the official tickets page (rajadamnern.com/tickets) or the box office from 15:00. You get a QR ticket.
  2. For Lumpinee Friday Fights, use the ThaiTicketMajor link on ONE Championship's tickets page, or the stadium counter.
  3. Resellers (Klook, Viator, Trip.com and similar) add a margin but give you a confirmed voucher in English. Read the exchange rules, because cancellation terms are the seller's, not the stadium's.
  4. Do not buy a seat from someone outside the gate or on a tourist street.

Scams and touts

  • A traveller on Weekend Notes describes a friendly woman outside Lumpinee offering front-row seats at a discount, and says the guidebook advice was to buy only at the ticket window. Lonely Planet gives the same advice for Rajadamnern: use the official counter or buy online, not from touts and scalpers outside the entrance.
  • Thai Holiday Guide warns that people selling "ringside" near Khao San Road or Bangla Road charge their own prices, not the stadium's, and that sites ranking for names like "Bangla Boxing Stadium tickets" are resellers.
  • We found no source for tuk-tuk-driver ticket scams specifically, so we do not claim them. The same rule applies: confirm venue, date and price on the stadium's own channel first.

What you will see

Each bout begins with the ram muay, the ritual dance fighters perform before every Muay Thai fight, shown in the photo below. The official Rajadamnern event list describes 7 to 9 bouts per night. Wikipedia notes armed military police provide security at Rajadamnern and betting happens on the second level, so expect a loud, crowded room.

Muay Thai in Chiang Mai

Thapae Boxing Stadium is at 1 Mun Mueang Road, Phra Sing, beside Tha Phae Gate in the old city. Guides say bouts run Monday to Saturday with no Sunday card, doors about 20:00 and the first bout about 21:00 to 21:15 (the stadium's Facebook page says 21:15). We could not verify an official ticket website, so everything here is third-party.

Thai Holiday Guide watching guide (8 Oct 2026)About 600 bahtUp to about 1,500 baht

The two pages from the same guide disagree, which is common when resellers set the price. Two sellers say children under 90 cm are free on a parent's seat, and only the VIP room is air-conditioned. Fit it into an evening with the Chiang Mai 3-day plan, and see the Chiang Mai Sunday Walking Street guide for Sunday, when the stadium has no card.

Gym day classes: why we leave them out

Many gyms sell day classes, but we only list class prices that appear on a gym's own pages. The pages we tried either carried no class fees or no longer belonged to the gym, so we publish none. If you book one, ask for a trial session, get the price in writing and avoid prepaying a long package.

Getting there

  • Rajadamnern is on Ratchadamnoen Nok Road in the old city. Use a taxi or ride-hailing app, or the river express boat plus a short taxi. See Bangkok BTS and MRT guide and Bangkok airport to city.
  • Lumpinee is on Ram Inthra Road in Bang Khen, far from the old city. One guide says the nearest MRT stop is Ram Inthra 3, about a 12-minute walk; check the route before you leave.
  • For daytime sights, read Wat Pho and the Bangkok 3-day plan.

We have no registered affiliate link for any Muay Thai ticket. The button in the booking box is a plain Klook search for Bangkok Muay Thai tickets. It earns us nothing unless a registered link exists, and reseller prices may sit above the stadium counter. Rajadamnern's own tickets page is the direct option.

FAQ

How much are Rajadamnern tickets?

The official pages list seat types but no prices (checked 2026-10-16). Guides and resellers quote roughly 1,000 baht for third class up to about 4,500 baht for the VIP lounge, depending on the card.

Do foreigners pay more than Thais?

Rajadamnern's official pages do not state a nationality price split. One undated listing says foreigners pay 500, 800 and 1,500 baht against 200, 400 and 1,000 for Thais, but we could not confirm it.

Which nights does Rajadamnern hold fights?

The official site lists a card every night: Knockout on Monday, Tuesday and Friday, New Power on Wednesday, Petchyindee on Thursday, RWS on Saturday and Kiatpetch on Sunday.

Which nights does Lumpinee hold fights?

Current guides say Friday (ONE Friday Fights) and Saturday, plus a monthly Saturday-morning ONE Fight Night. Wikipedia's Tuesday, Friday and Saturday schedule appears older.

Where do I buy the safest tickets?

For Rajadamnern, rajadamnern.com or the box office. For Lumpinee Friday cards, ThaiTicketMajor via ONE Championship's page or the stadium counter.

Is there an age limit?

Rajadamnern's tickets page says there is no age limit and calls the venue family-friendly.

Can I watch Muay Thai in Chiang Mai?

Yes. Thapae Boxing Stadium holds cards Monday to Saturday evenings by Tha Phae Gate, per guides; confirm the date with the seller.

Should I take a day class at a gym?

Many gyms offer them, but we only list prices from gyms' own pages and found none we could verify. Ask for a trial session and avoid prepaying a long package.
