Asiatique The Riverfront is Bangkok's riverside night market and entertainment area, built around old warehouses on the Chao Phraya, with a 60-metre Ferris wheel, restaurants, shops and a free shuttle boat. The short answer: the official contact page lists opening hours of 11:00 to 24:00 every day, the official How do I get here section lists a free shuttle boat between Sathorn pier and Asiatique pier from 16:00 to 23:30 every 25 to 30 minutes, and walking in costs nothing, although the rides and shows are paid separately.
We read the official Asiatique pages on 2026-10-16. They do not give show times or ticket prices, so we say so instead of guessing. Where another source gives a number we mark it as such.

The shuttle schedule is the most useful fact here, and blogs vary: some say "16:00 to 23:00" and others give different frequencies. We use the official page (16:00 to 23:30, every 25 to 30 minutes) as the best reading and suggest you ask the crew for the last boat back before you go. The official Home page copyright line is 2017 and some promotions change, so check the day's event listing on the official Events page.
Boat times, ticket prices and event decorations change. The official page is the best reading as of 2026-10-16; confirm at the pier and the ticket counter.
What to do at Asiatique
- Walk the riverfront. The official page describes dining along 300 metres of Chao Phraya promenade, with restaurants from across Bangkok and street food in Warehouses 1 and 2.
- Ride Asiatique Sky. The 60 m wheel gives views of the river and both banks, according to the official description. The ticket site says the ride goes around several times; check the current price at the counter.
- See the Calypso Cabaret. The official page has a long description of the show and its performers but no schedule or ticket price. Ask at the site or the show's own channels.
- Mystery Mansion and the carousel. The official page describes a two-level dark ride and a double-decker horse carousel.
- The Sirimahannop tall ship. A replica of the 19th-century Thoon Kramom ship, run as a restaurant and bar by the Marriott Marquis Queen's Park team, according to the official page.
- Shops and markets. The Explore page lists Warehouses 1 to 10 with fashion, souvenirs, home decor and food, plus a Big C store and a Lifestyle Market.
- Jurassic World: The Experience. The official page promotes this attraction; it is ticketed, and we did not check its price.

The event sign in the last photo was a temporary decoration when the photo was taken; promotions and themes change from season to season.
How to get to Asiatique
| Route | What the official page says |
|---|---|
| BTS and free shuttle boat | Ride the BTS to Saphan Taksin. Exit 2 leads to Sathorn pier, where the free shuttle boat runs 16:00-23:30 every 25 to 30 minutes |
| BTS and road | Saphan Taksin Exits 1, 3 and 4, then catch a bus or taxi |
| Express boat (orange flag) | Runs until 17:00 to Wat Rajsingkorn pier, then walk 500 m to Charoen Krung Road |
| Chao Phraya tourist boat | Hop-on hop-off, 16:10-19:10 |
| Bus | Lines 1, 4-68, 15, 17, 22 and 75 |
| Car | Routes from Silom or Sathorn Road, Rama 3, Chan Road and Charoen Nakhon Road are shown on the official page |
The Bangkok BTS and MRT guide shows how to reach Saphan Taksin from Siam and the airport rail link, and Bangkok airport to the city covers the first leg. Evening traffic on Charoen Krung Road is heavy, so the boat is usually easier than a taxi, and the express boat has stopped by the time the market gets busy.

A simple evening plan
- 16:30: Reach BTS Saphan Taksin (Exit 2) and walk to Sathorn pier.
- 17:00: Take the free shuttle boat across the river.
- 17:30: Walk the promenade for sunset, then pick a restaurant on the waterfront.
- 19:00: Ride Asiatique Sky once it is dark, or watch a show if you have checked a time.
- 21:30: Browse the warehouses, then queue early for the boat back, which runs until 23:30 per the official page.
Pair it with the riverside mall on the other bank: ICONSIAM guide covers the fountain show and SookSiam. For daytime temples and boats, read Bangkok temples and Chao Phraya cruises compared, the Wat Pho guide and the Bangkok 3-day plan. For food, try Bangkok street food and Yaowarat.
When to go
Aim for the last hour of daylight so you see the river at sunset and the lights come on. Weekends are busier. The market is open-air in parts, so rain stops some stalls; the covered warehouses stay open. See best time to visit Bangkok.
Safety and small cautions
- Boat times. The shuttle is afternoon and evening only. Do not arrive at the pier before 16:00 expecting a boat.
- Taxi touts. Drivers near Saphan Taksin may offer a ride "to Asiatique". The boat is free and marked.
- Ticket sites. The wheel ticket site is linked from the official page, but compare the price with the counter before paying.
- Emergency numbers. 191 police, 1669 medical, 1155 Tourist Police. See Thailand safety, scams and health.

The booking box on this page opens the King Power Mahanakhon SkyWalk page on Klook. That is a different Bangkok skyline ticket and not an Asiatique ticket; we added it only because it is the Bangkok viewpoint attraction we are registered for, and it is an alternative if you prefer a tower to a wheel. Asiatique Sky tickets are bought on its own site or at the counter. See Bangkok attraction tickets and Thailand budget per day.
